Rachel Le Roux is a British-Filipina contemporary artist whose figurative and abstract works capture the feminine form in its most fluid, unguarded state.

Rachel paints the space between movement and stillness. The suspended second when a dancer's fabric swirls around her, when emotion contours into shape. Drawing the body in 6B pencil and rendering the fabric in oil, her practice holds two impulses at once: the precision of her training as an interior architect, and the freedom she finds in letting paint move on its own.
